A new executive committee of the South Asian Public Affairs Council (SAPAC) was formed in its recently held annual general meeting. SAPAC is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organisation devoted to preserving the South Asian culture while promoting multicultural Australia. It aims to promote education, health, cultural awareness, youth development, economic development, and policy initiatives within Australia. SAPAC works to monitor and nurture democratic systems by promoting social justice, human rights and equality on behalf Australia’s South Asian community.
The newly elected office bearers are:
